As you well know, I love brunch. I'm all about snacks, I love sleeping in, I'm all about having an excuse to drink champagne before noon...brunch let's me have all of that. There are literally so many great places to brunch in Denver. From Ellyngton's, to Snooze, to The Lobby, to La Merise, to the giant smothered burrito at Steuben's, the Liege waffles at Waffle Up, and so so many more in between. But my favorite brunch spot in Denver might surprise you. It's one of those places where the wait is short, the food is amazing, and the atmosphere is intimate but inviting..

 Denver's Hidden Gem

My pick for the best kept brunch spot in Denver? The Weber. It's right off the downstairs lobby of the Cherry Creek Inn, and it has about 3 of my favorite breakfast dishes in all of Denver. The dining room has a classic feel and relaxed atmosphere.

We lived in the heart of Cherry Creek North for a year, and always found ourselves walking past the Weber and talking about how we'd heard it was good and needed to try it sometime. Fast forward to right before we moved just out of walking distance from this little gem; we finally gave it a chance, loved it, and wished we had popped in sooner.

My Fiancé and I spent lunch there today doing a little wedding planning over some club sandwiches and sweet potato fries. Then hopped outside to shoot my outfit.

NEW LEGGING OBSESSION

So, I have a new leggings obsession. Which is rare, because I already believe leggings are pants, and am wiling to wear pretty much any brand that are comfy and provide enough coverage.

On a recent shopping trip, my mission was to [finally] upgrade my southern wardrobe to include a few good pairs of leggings that were [a lot] warmer than my current dri-fit spread. I found myself at Macy's browsing through the athletic section on a hunt for fleece lined leggings and when there were none to be found, the sales girl directed me up a floor to look at the "other" leggings section by the gloves.

After touching them all at testing their stretch-ability [totally a thing], I gathered my 10+ pairs to take in for some more extensive testing in the dressing room. On my way, something caught my eye.

At first, they appeared to be grey leather pants (currently obsessed with grey, couldn't resist, yada yada). I then discovered that they were leggings...that magically looked like leather. Needless to say I walked out having purchased that pair and one other grey pair in the same brand.

You can shop this look below, including my exact top and leggings. For the shoes (which are from Just Fab and sold out) and the scarf (which was a holiday gift from Stitch Fix), I have linked some similar styles.
